General Terms and Conditions for E-Wheelchair:

E-Wheelchair service would facilitate Rail passengers at Nominated Railway Stations in booking wheelchair for sick/old/handicapped/needy passengers.
Any passenger having valid confirmed/RAC/Partial WL reservation ticket may book the wheelchair through website. The stations in which E-Wheelchair services are available are also uploaded for information of the passengers. The process of booking is as under: -
1) Passenger will enter the PNR. Stations list shall appear/display in drop down menu. Passenger may choose the station he/she wishes to book E-wheelchair on.
2)On completion of booking, SMS and email shall be generated and sent to the customer as well as the service provider.
This facility can be availed by passengers having valid reservation ticket either e-ticket Or ticket taken from reservation window.
The wheelchair will be provided at the designating station 24 hours. However, the passenger, if so desire, may cancel the wheelchair as per the terms & conditions.
The usage time of Wheelchair has no relation with arrival/departure time of trains.
The usage of the Wheelchair is limited to the platforms & porch areas of the stations. The usage will also be restricted due to non-availability of ramps etc. at stations.
IRCTC in any case will not be responsible for any damage cause to life and property of user.

The wheelchair(s) will be collected from and returned to Collection centres at Railway station. The passenger/ attendent need to deposit Rs. 500/- in cash and a valid Govt. approved identity card, which shall be returned on return of wheelchair.
